American Indian Healthy Eating

Native Youth Healthy Eating Art Contest

Native youth were asked to illustrate ways to improve healthy eating within their Tribe.  Each of the seven participating Tribes each selected one winner from their community contestants.  Each winner received a $50 gift card to Walmart and their art work is featured throughout Tools for Healthy Tribes and as part of an exhibit at the North Carolina Commission of Indian Affairs.
